Dreams Shrug

I recently got inspired by my younger sister. She is a ballet dancer. So I decided to design a Shrug for her. This was the results. I think it turned out pretty good.

I really had fun making this. I usually on do ponchos when I venture into wearable items...so this was fun and I am so happy with they way it turned out. I have already started on the next one! :)

Spring Ideas

Ok ok ok...I know it is still freezing outside...but spring really isn't that far away. I have already started to think about what I want to do for Spring Wearables. I think I have a few designs that will make the cut.

Peacock Flip Flops-Sz 6 1/2 are the first of my spring related items. These super cute flip flops have been crocheted with eyelash yarn giving them a fun and funky look. I just love to wear flip flops!!

I have started to attended several virtual labs on Etsy. I must say I'm really enjoying them. They are informative and I have meet a lot of cool peeps from them. :)

Well I have to make up for lost time today so this is short post...sorry I had a lot more planned. But my truck's battery decided to die while I was in town today...I finally get jumped off and I'm back home but half my day is shot...so I got lot of creating and promoting and being momin' to do before the day is over. :)

I have many sides.

Today I was informed by my sister that I have many sides. She says that there is a lot about me that people don't get. Apparently crocheting and a love for wrestling are among those that people don't know about me...which makes me giggle.

I love being a mom too! :)

Today I finally took down our christmas tree. Yes I had it up all this time...J, my baby, really loved the bright lights. Plus, I was a little lazy...but shhh...don't tell anyone that last part. lol! :)

Army

My brother-in-law joined the army. He will be leaving for basic training in just a few days.

My hubby and I decided to cook dinner for him before he leaves out.
I am not the best cook...I am much better at crocheting...but today I am attempting to make Chicken-n-Dumplins. I have made them before but only for a few people so I hope this turns out good.

In the world of etsy things are looking good. I made sale last night. *Doing a happy dance!*
